Thomas Longino joined Presley Burton & Collier, LLC in 2011.  During his legal career, he has been involved in numerous public finance transactions as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, issuer's counsel and borrower's counsel.  Prior to joining Presley Burton & Collier, Thomas was a partner with a major Birmingham law firm.  He has extensive knowledge in tax-exempt finance for state and local governments, governmental agencies, 501(c)(3) organizations, conduit borrowers, and distressed or defaulted financings.  He also has significant experience with real estate finance and with resolving clouded real estate title issues.

Originally from Clarksdale, Mississippi, Thomas graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in Economics.  He received his Juris Doctor from The University of Mississippi in 1996 and a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University in 1998.  Thomas was Associate Editor of Mississippi Cases for the Mississippi Law Review.

In addition to his experience practicing law, Thomas has owned and operated businesses in Mississippi and Texas.
